Nothing new here then !
Sun 7th February 2010

Hello to my favourite reader Pauline ( my Cousin from the valley's (Wales that is) I am struggling for something to write actually as we are still not on the move, but just for her, she is our most prolific reader, so as not to disappoint her I feel I must write so here goes Pauline this is especially for you, with nothing much happened since the last time I wrote, well when I say nothing, we have had Stuart and Emma over for a weekend which is always very lovely, it was still icy cold and the canal was frozen over so we didn't even get a trip up the canal, but we still enjoy having them over and Emma loves the boat she finds it relaxing compared to her busy role nursing at the QEHKL,  so does Stuart tho, apart from being knocked up by the swans before eight oclock  . We are still taking trips on our bikes and discovering Market Harborough, I had a trip last week to King'slynn for a visit to J. Williams, no not that great Rugby player from way back when, but the Rhuematoid Specialist, I don't even think he is Welsh but he is absolutley wonderful and has been for the almost ten years he has been treating me, I hate it when people moan in the waiting room that he has a queue when they go for an appointment, but it is only because he gives everyone more time than I think he is actually alloted to give people, and he must do it for the moaners too, because they are always in there for a long time when I am waiting so stop moaning, he is a credit to the NHS, so there thats got that off my chest. This Wednesday we went to the Union pub for the special steak evening where they throw a bottle of wine in we went with our neighbours, Jo and John who are lovely company, we seem to be making quite a habit of eating and drinking with them no wonder I'm getting chubbier !!  On Thursday we had our lovley friends over that we had met on the cut last summer, they are Heather and Alan from  nb."Hull Cottage" I cooked a lunch just bangers and mash with a cheesecake for pud, but I think they enjoyed, I hope they enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed the homemade fruit cake that Heather had made and brought over for us, unfortunatley it was one of those fast disappearing cake that seem to be quite popular with us !! see you again soon when we pass your way.

Well because I had to go to Kings Lynn last week I stayed with the dog and the boat this week whilst Richard went as it was Lily's 1st birthday our beautiful little grand daughter, so happy birthday Lily see you soon.

Woh Yes results from Dancing on Ice and Heather Mills has been voted out, thank goodness, I dont care how many legs she has, she just has this attitude and no redeeming features, well that's just my opinion and I'm glad she's out.

Well I think that's it for now maybe next time I write we will have moved out, that is weather permitting of course because we have some pretty bad weather forecast again for mid week so we will wait and see

bye for now

all our love

Chrissie and Richard x x
